Ever wonder why an outfit may be a little off or something doesn’t look right in the mirror
Here is a quick tip that will be a game changer for you. It only takes five minutes to do but it will have massive impact on your outfits.
You see, what most people don’t know about dressing your proportions is while, using the ⅔ golden means or 2:1 ratio for outfits is important, actually knowing where things should fall on your own body is what you really need to know!
Which is why you MUST get in front of a full length mirror right now! Think about it. Have you ever tried to copy an outfit from an influencer, bought the same pieces, even if they had the same shape as you, but it didn’t look the same on you?
Well chances are the horizontal or vertical proportions were not the same. (Especially if you’re petite.)
Which is why you NEED to know where things should fall on your own body.
Here is a quick way to figure that out.
Step 1: Put on fitted workout clothes.
Step 2: Take a full length selfie.
Step 3: Print out the selfie.
Step 4: Draw horizontal lines ←—-> on your hips, calves and ankles where you are the slimmest.
Chances are when your hemlines hit at this length you will like what you see in the mirror a whole lot more. Maybe even LOVE.
After you do this. Go try on something that hits at that length or hem, tape it to hit at that length and let me know what you see!
