Rodan and Fields Free Giveaway

Rodan and Fields – I recently learned about the brand Rodan & Fields from another blogger, so I was thrilled when my friend Megan sent me a Rodan & Fields mini facial to try. Of course, I asked her for extra to send to my readers, so I have 3 mini facials to give away! I’m turning 40 this year, so words like “anti-aging” are starting to catch my attention. As I’ve written about before, I’m finally starting to take facial care seriously. Honestly, I was very surprised with the results of the product.

The facial came in a cute linen pouch with a small instruction card. First was the Mico-Dermabrasion Paste. It reads, “For a brighter, refined complexion. Polishes skin with high glide sugar and salt featuring vitamin C and E.” You’re supposed to rub it on dry for 30 to 60 seconds. It was very abrasive; I felt like I was rubbing sand on my face and it started to hurt. The instructions said to add water for a gentler exfoliation, which I followed exactly with care.

I noticed a difference right away when I started to rinse off. I actually said, “Oh Wow!” out loud to my husband. My skin felt SO smooth and slippery and was definitely polished! It felt like fresh, silky smooth baby skin. (I have a toddler so I have something to compare it to.) This was even before the second two steps, which were adding Night Renewing Serum and the Lip Renewing Serum.

The night serum and lip serum were really nice. The night serum was smooth and glided on like velvet. I didn’t think my face could feel any softer. I liked the Lip Renewing Serum; it was thicker and stickier, but felt like it sealed in moisture well. When I woke up the next morning, my face felt clean and light. (It’s usually a tad oily). I was impressed with how the lip serum hydrated my lips. When I wake up, they are usually a little dry.

I’m a big fan of facial care and have experienced what good products can do for you. I’ve been using Vitamin C serum in the morning and Retinol serum at night and have noticed that my fine lines and wrinkles have greatly diminished. These products look like they produce similar results.
