I wanted to share a special piece of jewelry dear to my heart. This custom locket is a birthday present from my parent that will be treasured for many years for a variety of reasons.
First, it was made by my friend, Lori, who I met when I lived in Southern California. I have a sweet memory of bottle feeding one of her darling babies so she could join the sessions her husband was speaking at, one of the many ministry retreats we did together.
Second, it’s a silhouette photograph of my only daughter that my father took – making it doubly precious to my heart. Lori is an amazing artist. She also created my wedding jewelry and bridesmaids necklaces and earrings. It’s a sweet blessing to have her make this family heirloom for us 8 years later. It’s a special treasure I love to wear.
Lori’s work has been featured in magazines and in museums. Learn more about Lori, her custom lockets, and Halle Berry’s choice “Ink and Snow” at Dearest Mine Etsy shop. Thank you for sharing this. I spent quite a while on Dearestmine.com., put several handmade lockets on my wish list, and purchased a grab bag deal!!! However, I did not see any place to reference that you were how I heard about this. Maybe you can let her know:-)

Thank you Patricia! I’m so glad you like Lori’s work. She is a personal friend and a talented artist who has been making jewelry for about 20 years now. I will send her a personal note to let her know how much you like her lockets!
