The weather here in Nor California just dropped and we had our first official day of cool weather which had me digging under the bed for sweaters in storage!
With Thanksgiving coming up, I though you’d enjoy getting a head start on outfit planning. Whether you’re hosting or attending this year, you can show up in style and still be comfortable!
Fall is the most popular season for fashion. From chunky knits, soft cozy layers, fun prints and colors that have you ready to snuggle up by the fire with a good book or movie, it’s time to brew the pumpkin spice tea or coffee and scroll down to get inspired!
Below are 45 outfit ideas you can shop your closet for! If you haven’t already, it’s time to pull out the sweaters, scarves and booties!
Fall dresses come in all sorts of shapes and patterns. If you have curvy hips consider a belted style or one that cinches in at the waist. I like to add my own leather belts to a dress for a more personalized look. Shorter dresses with booties are a great look for petites.
I’m a big fan of tunic tops for petites. They can be so cozy with leggings or jeggings. The shorter length will elongate your leg line – especially if you match your boot and leggings color.
An easy go-to outfit for fall, is pairing a chunky, patterned or textured sweater with your favorite stretchy jeans for a festive meal with friends and family. Add printed shoes, scarves or accessories to jazz up the look.
Layering is a great way to pull an outfit together –vests are great for adding dimension to your outfit without running too hot. Sweater vests are popular this year, but fur, sherpa, suede and knit are always fabulous too!
Turtlenecks are always cozy for fall. If a high neckline doesn’t suit you, try a drapey cowl neck that comes lower and opens up the neckline.
A flowy skirt with an elastic waist can be a comfy and stylish for Thanksgiving. Paired with a lightweight textured sweater or blouse and low heels is very posh. Add fun earrings and bracelets to polish off your look or layer different necklaces together to spice it up.
